Judgements here, judgements there

You swear you know me through my hairstyles
You swear you know what’s happening in my life
In reality you don’t
Under this braided, cut hair lies a demon called Psoriasis
You would not know what that is now, would you?

I walk into a room your eyeballs grow out of your face. Who do you think you are?
This is how you suppose to style your hair…
I am not my hair if you ask me
Your ignorance will not get me crippled
Get it straight, culture has not to do with it

Empathize with me
While the bloody scalp shatters my joy
A strong woman is my name
Hit me, I remain unbreakable
Put my feet on the ground
Turn my pain into style
Underneath it all, I stand tall

Life in Lynn, MA

Living in Lynn has been nothing thus far but a great adventure. The beautiful beaches, the playgrounds, the parks, the flower gardens and much more. If someone told me someday that i would be living in this city I would have said never; which I did because all I ever heard about Lynn is how it is bad to raise kids the school system is bad, and that there is a lot of drugs so forth and so on. … When I found out I was moving here I had mixed feelings thinking what if I end up in an area that has all these things going on, or what if the school that my son will attend is really bad. It turned out that his school is the best in the town plus I find myself living in one of the nicest part of this adventurous city. Its been over a year now and I have discovered so much. On my free time i find myself walking down the beach quite often where I interact with others that has been here before me watching people walking their dogs, riding their bikes  surfing etc… On my free time i walk around and take beautiful photos which is becoming a hobby. My babies enjoy every moment living here, my daughter feels like she should be at the beach everyday. How do I know that? Because she asks everyday no matter the weather. To her it is always a beautiful day in the neighborhood rain or shine lol. My babies love to spend their time outdoors which gives me the opportunity to capture every moment. I could not ask for a better area to live, everything i need is right under my nose. My mangoes, my variety of food choices and everything that this city has to offer. I love this city I can see myself living here in the diamond district for a very long time. My exploration has just began I will sure have more to share. Hope you enjoy these photos.

“Being differen…

“Being different is what sets you apart from everybody else in this world. It allows you to be unique. It allows you to process information in ways that people will never understand, and see things in ways that others would find unimaginable. It allows you to break free from the mould of society. You are not the same as anybody else, yet you are no different to anybody else. You are YOU… Don’t ever change!”
